Everyday Photo Poem
A boy named Clyde prepares to ride.
I hold my breath as he goes to slide.
It feels like he weighs a ton.
All day long up, then down.
All day long, they hit the ground with a thud.
Silly siblings steer down this slide.
I didn't always want this job.
Monkey bars, swings, jungle gym, anything.
But now my spine is curved, and my body plastic,
don't be fooled, its anything but fantastic.
